In light of the unfolding Coronavirus pandemic we have relocated to the safety of our homes in Rome, Stockholm, Prague and elsewhere. And, we have not ceased working.

To break the isolation that COVID-19 has delivered, we have decided to move into cyberspace to continue our quest to keep assisting in enhancing Euro-Gulf relations through dialogues, information sessions, publication and much more.

In that way, we organised an e-round table discussion on ‘Coping with Coronavirus: Euro-Gulf Perspectives’ held on the Zoom platform, 19 March 2020 at 11:00 CET.

The discussion explored the impact of Coronavirus from an interdisciplinary perspective and speakers include:
Velina Tchakarova (Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy),
Yan St-Pierre (Modern Security Consulting Group, [MOSECON] in Berlin),
Omar Al-Ubaydli (Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies [DERASAT], Bahrain),
Andrea Spinelli Barrile (Slow News, Italy),
Mitchell Belfer (Euro-Gulf Information Centre) will moderate the discussion.

We very much look forward to welcoming you all back to our offices soon as I know that we all crave human contact. But until then, we are happy to see you on our screens.
