Learning from History 'Europe and the Arab Gulf'

This event, titled 'Europe and the Arab Gulf,' was held on 15 February at the EGIC Headquarters (via Gregoriana 12 Rome).

The Learning from History Series is a string high-level events that analyse key historic events and chapter that impart the knowledge needed to deal with contemporary challenges. For this event, we have constructed an international panel of renowned experts to discuss the lessons that Europe could learn via its own long history of engagement with the Arab Gulf. 
Speakers:
Dr Gerald Power (Metropolitan University Prague) will talk about the centuries-old relationship between the United Kingdom and the Gulf

Dr Silvia Colombo (Istituto Affari Internazionali) will focus on important challenges that have restricted relations between the European Union

Dr Rachid Chaker (Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II) will share the deep legacy and ambitions of France in the region.
