Press Review

Keynotespeaker for this event was HIS HIGHNESS SHAIKH MOHAMMAD BIN KHALIFA AL KHALIFA, MINISTER OF OIL, KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN.

Set in the heart of Rome, the EGIC's Economic Futures of the Gulf conference series intends to provide a public domain for discussing and understanding economic developments in the Arab Gulf. Additionally, the series aims at linking these developments to the world economy to see how they are affecting and being affected by changes in economic transactions. In doing so, the series will devote special attention to the relationship between the Arabian Gulf and the European economies and is an ideal place to create spaces of synergy and cooperation between peoples of the Gulf and Europe.

This, the premier Futures conference - in what is set to become a biannual event - provided a platform to specialists, policy makers and people concerned or interested to know about recent development in the economies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to discuss important topics such as recent structural reforms in GCC.
