The Euro-Gulf Information Centre organised “The Iraq Impasse” , a public event  held on Wednesday, 29 January 2020, from 17:00h until 19:00h at Via Gregoriana 12, Rome, with the Journalist Sofia Barbarani and moderated by Mitchell Belfer, EGIC President.

Iraq has been shaken in recent months by a very fragile internal cohesion and by the the external factor and its territory has been the confrontation between Iran and the US rivalry.

The discussion examined the consequences of the recent crises in Iraq with the precious help of Sofia Barbarani, a free lance journalist who spent 3 years in Iraq and Syria
